Round shower curtain rod – Shower and bath curtains are important functional and decorative elements in bathrooms. Primary purpose of curtain is functional: to keep water in bathtub or shower stall. Secondary purpose is aesthetic, and interior scheme of room can be inspired by curtain – at least improves curtain system.
Standard size of a shower curtain is 70 inches wide and 72 inches long. Size of shower curtain and how it attaches to round shower curtain rod determines location of bar on wall. Place one of curtain rings on rod and measure from top of bar to bottom of ring – where curtain will hang. This is mounting height adjustment figure.
Lower portion of curtain in a shower should not be more than 1 cm from floor. Measure shower curtain from bottom of curtain to bottom of one of holes for rings and add 1 inch. Add to this mounting height adjustment figure. This will give height of wall of upper part of rod.
Lower edge of tub curtain should fall 6 inches below top of tub. Measure curtain from bottom edge to bottom of bore and subtract six inches. Add mounting height adjustment figure. This gives you several inches above tub edge of top of round shower curtain rod.
